Stable Stories is an Animal Assisted Reading Program Designed to
Facilitate the Joy of Learning and to Build Essential Life Skills
Purpose: To provide children with an opportunity to explore books and to read in a non-academic setting without grading or competency assessments. To engage children and make reading and self-expression fun and rewarding. To foster development of critical life skills through relationship building with animals and each other.
Objectives:
Relationship building with animals and books as a foundation for learning
Empower children to learn in their own way in a novel interactive environment
Achieve self-confidence and self-esteem
Development essential life skills
